How to Get Ungated
- Purchase from authorized distributors — Get professional invoices
- Order minimum quantities — Usually 10+ units per invoice
- Invoice requirements: Dated within 180 days, include your business name, distributor info, product UPCs
- Product photography — Clear photos showing product, packaging, labels
- Apply through Seller Central → Add a Product → Request Approval
Hazmat/Dangerous Goods on FBA
Some products require hazmat review before FBA acceptance:
- Lithium batteries (standalone or in products)
- Aerosols (hairspray, cleaning products)
- Flammable liquids
- Pesticides and herbicides
- Certain cosmetics and personal care items
Process:
- Submit Safety Data Sheet (SDS) via Seller Central
- Amazon reviews within 2–5 business days
- If approved, follow specific shipping requirements
- Use carriers experienced in hazmat FBA shipments
