Amazon FBA Bundling: From Creation to Fulfillment
Product bundles can increase your average order value and differentiate your listings. But bundling for FBA has specific requirements.
Amazon's Bundle Policy
- Must include complementary products — Items that make sense together
- Cannot bundle identical items — That's a multi-pack, not a bundle
- Must create a new ASIN — Bundles are unique listings
- Bundle must have unique UPC/EAN — Purchase from GS1
- All items must be from the same brand or generic
Creating a Bundle Listing
- Purchase a new UPC from GS1 ($30 for 10 UPCs)
- Create a new product listing in Seller Central
- Set category, title (include "Bundle" keyword), and bullet points
- Upload professional bundle photos
- Set price to reflect bundle value
Bundle Prep Requirements
- Poly bag or shrink wrap all bundle items together
- "Sold as Set" label — Required on all bundles
- FNSKU label — Single FNSKU for the entire bundle
- Suffocation warning if poly bagged
- Components must not be separable — Amazon should not be able to sell items individually
