Oversize products have different (and higher) fees, stricter packaging requirements, and more complex shipping logistics than standard-size items.

Packaging Requirements for Oversize
- Double-wall corrugated boxes for items over 20 lbs
- Corner protection for items with corners or edges
- Do NOT exceed 150 lbs per unit (Amazon's maximum)
- No stacking oversize on pallets (one layer only for extra-large)
- Clear labels — FNSKU and FBA shipment labels on largest flat surface
Shipping Oversize to FBA

- Ship in bulk — Per-unit freight cost drops dramatically with FTL shipments

- Use dimensional weight optimization — Reduce package dimensions where possible

Some sellers use a hybrid approach:
- FBA for oversize items in high-demand areas (faster delivery)
