Amazon FBA Delivery Appointments
For LTL and FTL shipments, Amazon requires a delivery appointment at the receiving fulfillment center. Missing or incorrect appointments can result in turned-away trucks and costly delays.
How to Book Appointments
Step 1: Complete your shipping plan in Seller Central and choose LTL or FTL shipping method.
Step 2: Obtain your PRO number from your carrier or freight broker.
Step 3: Log into Amazon Carrier Central (carriercentral.amazon.com).
Step 4: Enter shipment details:
- FBA Shipment ID (FBA######)
- BOL number
- PRO number
- Number of pallets
- Trailer type (53' dry van preferred)
Step 5: Select available delivery date/time slot.
Step 6: Confirm appointment and share details with your carrier.
Appointment Rules
- Book 24–48 hours in advance (some FCs require 72 hours)
- Arrive within your window — 30-minute grace period
- Late arrivals may be turned away and need rebooking
- Cancellations must be made 24+ hours in advance
- No-shows affect your appointment reliability score
Common Appointment Mistakes

- Booking for wrong FC (check your shipment plan carefully)
- Wrong shipment ID on the appointment
- Arriving with wrong number of pallets vs. appointment
- Not sharing appointment details with the driver
Tips for Smooth Deliveries
- Confirm with your carrier 24 hours before delivery
- Provide the driver with FC address, appointment time, and BOL
- Expect 2–4 hour unload times at busy FCs
- Get a signed BOL — essential for claims and proof of delivery
- Track check-in status in Seller Central
What If Your Truck Is Turned Away?
- Contact Amazon Seller Support immediately
- Rebook through Carrier Central
- Document the incident (photos, timestamps)
